It is basically the crucifixion of christ Read Matthew 27:27-44 there you might get it better because yea from where the verse starts at 33 is a little confusing but read the verse I put right there and let me know what you got from reading it.
So I take it Psalm 22 is the prophecy of Jesus' crucifixion. I see now that Jesus' final words "My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me" was prophesied from Psalm 22:1. 22:6, rejecting Him as the Messiah, calling him just "a man". Verses 7-8 of Psalm 22 predict the insults that the thieves on His side, the chief priests, and the elders threw at him in Matthew 27:38-44. The piercings of his hands and feet in Psalms 22:16. Verse 18, the gambling of His clothes.
Well, that's all the connections I saw so far. Haha. Just decided to share.
